What a year 2022 will be! It is going to be the year of the monkey, which means it’s time for all of us humans to make some changes. New Year means new and better you, and with that comes new opportunities to be better in terms of health. With this in mind, today, we am going to share five healthy habits that can help you prepare for 2022 – and beyond!
Start with a healthy breakfast:
This one is key, and it’s especially important to start your day off right if you want to be successful in keeping up with other healthy habits. A nutritious breakfast will give you the energy you need to get through the day without resorting to unhealthy snacks or sugary drinks. Some of my favorite breakfast recipes include oatmeal with fruit, eggs, and toast, or a protein shake.
Get moving:
Exercise is another essential part of any healthy routine. It can help improve your mood, increase energy levels, and promote better sleep habits. Try to get in at least 30 minutes of exercise each day – even if it’s just a brisk walk around the neighborhood. Try some of our ready to mix shakes to give you the energy as you head out to the gym or while you’re excercising.
Drink plenty of water:
This is another one that is key for overall health and wellbeing. Make sure to drink at least eight glasses of water per day and more if you’re active or tend to sweat a lot. Not only will drinking enough water help keep your body healthy, but it can also help reduce bloating and improve your complexion.
Limit screen time:
This one can be tough, but it’s essential to try and limit your screen time as much as possible. Too much screen time can lead to eye strain, poor sleep habits, and even weight gain. Instead, try to find other activities to occupy your time – like reading, going for walks, or spending time with friends and family.
Eat more greens:
It’s time to put vegetables back on the menu! Eating a diet rich in fruits and veggies is key to staying healthy. Make sure to incorporate several servings of both into your daily routine, and try not to go too long without them – even if you’re pressed for time or don’t feel like preparing something up at that moment.
